Heinlein
Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man.
Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded -- here and there, now and then -- are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck." -- Robert A. Home from the range.

What were you using and from what distance?

Are you familiar with Weymouth Sportsman’s Club? The indoor range doesn’t have the distances marked off. I was able to take a quick pace-off so I think that was at 12 yards. Fine for me since it is more than the longest distance I’d have to shoot inside the house. Which is the only place I’m carrying for now. 9mm from the S&W MP. EZ.
The flyers were with the left hand, the first joint of that trigger finger doesn’t move and is weaker. A couple of times after firing I couldn’t hold the trigger down through the recoil and the finger allowed the trigger to reset and let off a shot I didn’t intent to fire.
Good news is that ammo at Hunters is $5 cheaper per 50 round box this week.

Yup, I know the Sportsman’s Club. I was under the impression that you couldn’t get in there; obviously I was mistaken. 12 yards is a good measurement for a pistol, especially for someone with limited experience. I’m guessing that you’re using target ammo for the range? I don’t have any in stock and I’m unwilling to use the hollow points that I do have.

Finally got a call back in January. It’s good to be able to go to a range minutes from the house.
9mm FMJ, 115 grams. Haven’t seen any hollow point or wad cutters.
edited to “wad cutters” not “was cutters” Damn auto-correct!
