Since 1982, the biggest single snowfall I can remember here. 28″ of snow.
Why I bought an Ariens Snowthrower, here the snow was higher than the top of the discharge chute. It looked like a snow volcano erupting out of the snow.

On the North River 
Worked in So Lake Tahoe for many years. The Snowblower of choice there was either Toro or Honda. But anyway you look at it 28″ is a respectable amount of snow to move.
